Todd Geiser developed the Yogastha Sadhana method of yoga practice after 18 years of practicing and teaching yoga asana and meditation. He began his yoga practice within the Ashtanga Vinyasa system created by Pattabhi Jois while continuing to explore the focused guidance of anatomy and alignment as taught by BKS Iyengar. This inevitably led him to delve into the direct source of this pool of wisdom from which he was studying as having come from the teachings of Tirumalai Krishnamachrya; a journey that coincided with a devotion for a thorough understanding of the philosophy and history that stands behind this physical practice of yoga. As the basis for Raja Yoga, the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and the Bhagavad Gita have held the focus of those studies, and have continued to do so as contemplation and meditation on yogic wisdom is integral to the daily practice of Yogastha Sadhana.
Todd Geiser continues to teach the health, healing and harmony that is found through the genuine practices of yoga in workshops and retreats throughout the year. He teaches regular weekly classes at Dharma Meghah Yoga Shala in Louisville, KY.
